JOURNEY
"The band that made believing cool."
THE STORY
Journey formed in San Francisco in 1973, initially as a jazz-fusion outfit before pivoting to the arena rock sound that would define them. The addition of Steve Perry in 1977 transformed the band — his soaring tenor became one of the most recognizable voices in rock history.
Their 1981 album 'Escape' remains their commercial peak, spawning 'Don't Stop Believin'' — a song that has sold over 7 million digital copies and is one of the best-selling catalog tracks of all time. The song's second life, sparked by its use in the 'Sopranos' finale, introduced Journey to an entirely new generation.
Through lineup changes and decades of touring, Journey's catalog has proven timeless. Radio Pig plays them daily — and listeners never skip.
